Cadiz

The weather looks fair for a few days in Cadiz – first time we’ve been here . . .

After recovering from our long drive we took the ferry to Cadiz with Pete, Sarah, John & Claire to spend an excellent day wandering around the old city. After enjoying a sunny spot for coffee in front of the cathedral, we bumped into each other again for lunch in the market hall.

Our 1600 rendezvous’s for a climb up the Torre Tevira for a view across the city through the camera obscura. There were also pretty good clear views from the roof of the tower. Before catching the 1900 ferry back as the sun was setting we had some very good churros and chocolate. On the walk back to the vans we booked a visit for tomorrow evening at the Bodega Gutiérrez Colosía.
