After going for a walk on Wednesday, the weather forecast seemed to look like Thursday might be the last chance to ski. Although snow was forecast, the warm temperatures indicated it would likely turn to rain! Steve set out with Tim and John in somewhat dull and drizzly conditions, but Bev decided to take the cablecar down to the carpark and go for a bike ride in the valley. Everyone had a great day, the sun came out and the snow on the higher slopes was good. Bike-riding in the valley was also extremely enjoyable, mostly on good trails although in a couple of places these were closed so Bev had to use the rather narrow road alongside some less than considerate drivers. Rather than cooking in, we treated ourselves and went out for a meal at Thams, the excellent Singapore restaurant a few minutes walk from the Chalet.
